Medicare Supplements – A Medicare supplement (also called Medigap) policy is a private health insurance that helps supplement Original Medicare. A Medicare Supplement helps to cover some of the costs that Original Medicare does not cover, such as copays, coinsurance and deductibles.
Medicare Advantage Plans – A type of Medicare health plan offered by private insurance companies that contract with Medicare to provide all Part A and Part B Medicare insurance benefits.
Medicare Prescription Drug Plans – These plans are often called “Part D” and provide prescription drug coverage not provided by Medicare Parts A and B.
I am a licensed insurance broker in the states of Tennessee and Alabama certified to sell numerous health plans in both states. I have had over 25 years in the healthcare industry, and to be more specific, hospital and physician office billing is where my career began. I have had years of experience in health insurance and am happy to help others understand it as well.
